HSG have designed & constructed to work with the natural lay of the land, this landscape brings together natural stonework, Australian native planting and lawn to create a space that feels connected to its surroundings.
A diverse selection of native plants has been incorporated throughout, chosen to complement the natural character of the site and provide texture, structure and seasonal interest as the landscape establishes.
A large natural rock bench seat was also incorporated into the design, creating a simple and functional place to sit while becoming a feature within the landscape itself.
Working with the existing levels and contours of the site allowed us to create a landscape that feels natural, considered and established within its environment.
A beautiful landscape brought together with a mix of native, productive and functional spaces.
The standout double header Xanthorrhoea creates a cracking feature amongst the native plantings and rockwork throughout the front yard.
Out the back, we constructed a natural dry creek bed, productive garden with raised planters and climbers, while still creating a relaxed space for the family to sit back, entertain and enjoy a fire pit.

This project is really starting to take shape.
Using large natural stone retaining walls, we’ve created multiple functional levels that not only manage the site’s natural fall but also transform it into a series of usable outdoor spaces. Every terrace has been carefully planned to maximise both aesthetics and practicality.
The upper level will become the perfect entertaining zone, complete with a fire pit overlooking the property, while the dedicated vegetable garden area will provide a productive space to grow fresh produce year-round. The lower levels will continue to soften as the native gardens establish, creating a landscape that blends seamlessly into the surrounding hills.
We’re excited to see this one completed.
